211 shouldn't exist and it's amazing the people working for 211 make incredible insane amounts of money to literally tell people they can't do anything for you and not give you any information at all. I called these people approximately 3 years ago asking about housing options and said I was homeless and they told me to buy an air BNB. Which was supposed to be halted because it raises the cost of living in California cities. And takes away actual homes from people. That was 211 solution to my homelessness. Buy an air BNB. When I asked about food options they said the church. Bravo 211. I have been eating church food more than half my life. That one was already known. I sat on the phone with an over paid lazy woman for almost 45 minutes mainly to listen to her say... Hmmmmm well ... Uhmmmm. I know it's difficult for you folks who don't work but get paid insane money, to fathom just how hard life can be for people who actually do work and are the working force for society. But there has to be significantly more aid you can lend. Again, until they actually give solutions, 211 should be shut down. The things they recommend can be found from any internet search. And if you have a phone to call them you can access the internet.
