My guitar teacher Travis at the Newcastle, WA 4/4 school is great! He is patient, kind and positive. I’m an adult beginner and had some insecurities about learning something new, but Travis has been a great guide on my musical journey.
The whole school staff is super responsive and helpful. They communicate through text, email and phone and I always get a fast reply.

My daughter has been going to 4/4 School of Music for 6+ years. We have had only two instructors which is a good sign that 4/4 has “happy” employees. Kristen was our first instructor who was amazing and our current instructor is Emily. We were concerned that we would struggle adjusting to Emily because we enjoyed Kristen so much BUT she has been as good, if not better. We love her! She has excellent skills, both musically and teach-ability. One of Emily’s finest attributes as an instructor is when she teaches a new concept to my daughter, Emma, she can always tie that concept to a great story of music history. It might be a story about Bach or a story of a musical era, she really knows her music and history of music. My daughter plays piano beautifully largely due to Emily. Thank you Emily and 4/4 School of Music!
