As the Communications Specialist for the City of Signal Hill CA, I was assigned the task of managing the filming our inaugural mayor’s “State of the City” event. After interviewing capable film companies, I decided to hire 4th Street Productions. Along with an incredible portfolio and thorough business experience, 4th Street brought creativity, dedication, professionalism, and filming expertise to this project. Most important though, 4th Street brought with them a team atmosphere, in which I was easily able to communicate my ideas and creative concepts.
The luncheon was attended by over 75 people and had a running time of 90 minutes. The team provided multi-camera views and drone footage of the entire event which gave our video a very professional look and feel. Along with the filming and editing of the main event, two other small videos were created as well. The first video was a 2-minute mayor’s highlight reel which showed off our city’s great destinations, views, events, and staff. The second video was a quick 60-second social media overview of the entire event. This was used to point viewers towards our YouTube channel in which the full-length video was shown.
The event went off without a hitch and the three videos produced were a complete hit with the Mayor, City Council, staff, and viewers. And the cherry on the top? Our project in came in on-time and within budget! I could not have asked for a better film company to assist me, and I would not hesitate to rehire or recommend them to others for their filming needs.
