I just left this gas station. Purchased 2 energy drinks and 2 bags of sunflower seeds. When I asked for a black bag, the cashier had his Bluetooth in and was clearly talking to someone OTHER than me, his customer. He did not acknowledge me at all. When I repeated myself, he charged me the $0.08 for a bag but put it in a small brown paper bag. I shook my head “no” and asked for a plastic bag that he JUST charged me for. I’ve been to this 7-Eleven countless times as I live in the area and have left with a plastic, black bag before. He kept insisting he didn’t have it but still wanted to point out that he charged me for the bag.
Now, I’m not sure if he was just wanting to stand his ground with the brown bag, or if they had run out of them (which he didn’t not clarify) - if they had, I would have understood but wanted NOT to have been charged for a brown bag that ripped on the walk home as he had filled it with my items to the brim.
Giving them a negative review and encouraging my community not support their establishment any longer.
