Yikes…is all I can say.
I’ve never been verbally accosted by a business until today when I visited this gas station.
I paid for fuel and pumped my gas. After it was finished pumping I went inside to use the restroom. There was a sign on the door that said “No Public Restroom” which I assumed meant that the restroom was for customers only, but not for the general public. This is the case in most businesses. Being that I just purchased a half a tank of gas I didn’t see any issue with using their restroom.
I came out to two staff members quite literally yelling at me and berating me for using the restroom. I tried to de-escalate the situation but honestly I was quite dumbfounded over their reaction. They were not able to wrap their mind around the fact that this could have been a misunderstanding. Not sure why they were so protective of their restroom. Very strange and very poor customer service to be honest.
