Actually I stopped by to fill up as I was passing through the area. I could choose between three stations clustered close together - Chevron, Shell and this one. I chose this one bc it had the lowest prices of the three. I was also pleasantly surprised by the little convenience mart attached to the station.....a lot of variety of products aaaand coffee! And I've always liked to browse at these little convenience marts. Heck, Doordash even offers delivery from a Chevron Extra Mile in Oakland!!

As my wife and myself were about to enter the gas station to get gas after letting our dog use the restroom, the attendant angrily approached us from the store and while standing in the doorway said, "You mus move car off lot". See my wife has a Traumatic Brain Injury and sometimes it takes her longer to gather herself before she enters a business. The stimulation that comes from people, florescent lights, the hum of the gas pumps etc., causes her to feel anxious causing her to get irritable. To elevate this from happening she meditates for a few minutes before entering the establishment, allowing her to remain calm and mentally capable of interacting with the public establishment. Having a brain injury us not a simple disability and the unusual mannerisms and the necessary behavior modifications that accompany this are what some would call off kilter to the untrained person. I feel that regardless of my wife's disability a service station is just that, a service station. Letting the driver and his passenger stretch their legs, taking the dog to go potty and emptying trash from our car is what you do at a gas station when your at a gas station. Yelling at assuming we were just hanging out on a Sunday night at a gas station in downtown Oakland is a bit rude, aggressive, discriminatory and embarrassing. We will refrain from ever coming back to that station or ever recommending to anyone.

Decent selection of C-Store items. Every time I buy a drink the staff attempts to sell me food as well which is mildly annoying (they get so robotic about it they will even ask if I want food when I'm already buying food). I've never bought gas there however.
