We had so much fun at A Frame’s wine and wheel night! Eric and Rachel are awesome people to spend a couple hours with, and we were warmly greeted by Lux, the sweetest dog. Eric and Rachel provided a charcuterie board and some wine options for us and we spent our evening going back and forth between those and our wheels. Eric provided great instructions on how to get started throwing, and I really mean this. I have been taking weekly pottery classes for the last 3 months and I feel like I learned more in this 2 hour session than I have in my classes. The rest of the group I went with had no pottery experience and we were all able to make pieces we were proud of. At the end of the night we got to pick our favorite two pieces to keep. Due to the nature of the lifecycle of pottery, Eric and Rachel will be firing and glazing our pieces for us, I can’t wait to pick them up in a few weeks! I highly recommend taking a class at A Frame, it’s so much fun! I’ll be back :)

I knew nothing about pottery when I walked in. I left with 2 creations and much self-confidence! Eric and Rachel are so kind and clearly love what they do which translates into a fun and inclusive 2 hour creative experience! Bonus points for the yummy snacks and hugs from their adorable dog, Lux!

Time and money well-spent! Great people and a great learning environment. After two hours, I developed a basic understanding of the process, tools and vocabulary needed to start throwing pottery on my own at home. Eric was a patient and thorough teacher on all things related to creating a piece, and Rachel was equally diligent sharing the firing- and glazing-related process and terminology. Looking forward to another class in the future!
