I went into the store and barely got a greeting. Looked at hairpieces and wigs for about 20 minutes, No one approached me to find out if they I needed help. I guess they must have thought I went in to steal hair since I am a person of color. When I exited the door, i heard someone say bye. I left and went to Crown wig and Beauty Supply and got the best customer service ever. If you are a person of color, do not go to Wig Galleria.
I don't know why they have good ratings. They don't care about you unless you will surely buy something. And the elder woman was talking to me make sure I know their wigs were pricey. "These cost about so and so dollars" was the first thing she said; and I didn't think much of it until I was there much longer and the service was justgetting worse. She was saying things and acting almost as if I can't afford to shop here and like she wanted me to leave. She wouldn't even help me. I think it's because I'm so young looking, and she was helping other older woman.
So I left and I was pretty upset. Then came back in and said "Why do you talk to me like that? Do you think I can't afford anything here?" I have a full time job in a great field and I was very offended. And her responses were just her in denial.
On top of that, the other woman who worked there (who is much younger) had her child in the back and the child going around the store with food all over the face and it was horrible.
This is just a terrible place. Never have I ever seen such unprofessional business. Do not ever go here. Especially if you look like someone who won't buy... whatever that means.
