This was the third time that we have used A2Z Home Inspections. The first two times it was for inspecting houses that we had made an offer on. Both times, we were fortunate to be able to withdraw our offers after the inspector found issues with the houses that would require massive and costly repairs. The last time we used A2Z Home Inspections, it was for the 11 month warranty inspection. The inspector, Mr. Steve Nagel, was very professional, courteous, and extremely meticulous. He provided us with a full report the evening of the inspection, with photos of all the problem areas. He found many issues that we were unaware of. For a minimal fee, he returned for a follow-up inspection after the problems were addressed by the builder, and he was able to assure us that the work had been completed satisfactorily. We were very pleased to learn that Mr. Nagel was able to communicate with my wife in Spanish, her native language.

Steve is highly professional, and most experienced. Beyond everything you can expect from a home inspector in the business for 30+ years, we feel Steve genuinely keeps your interest in mind. He stood by his professional judgement firmly. What we also liked was that when we asked him for help to recommend other services like radon test or sewer scoping, he would pull out a list, and really recommend the ones that he trusts. It also turns out that his recommended companies are really good ones. There is no single moment of confusion working with Steve, he is just there, responsive to questions you may have. Sometimes you might feel that you are taking too much of his time, but he is so meticulous and spends time explaining the details. This is the level of support you can expect from Steve. Highly recommend without any hesitation.

I wanted my entire home thoroughly inspected, since I’ve had a lot of issues lately.
Steve was on time, quite thorough, very knowledgeable, and happy to explain what I didn’t understand. He has decades of experience, which anyone should consider when comparing different home inspectors. Also just seemed like a nice guy, who knows what he’s doing. I definitely recommend A 2 Z Home Inspections.
