This is my go-to Recycle Center. I've been going to this location for about 18 months or so. As such, I've had mostly good experiences here. The formula that works for me is about 2 decent size garbage bags full of mostly plastic & aluminum, with token quantities of glass & #2 plastic (Sunny D, etc)...which usually amounts to a double digit payout ($10+), but less than $20. That seems to keep a little hustle $ in my pocket, and a clean backyard for the kiddos.

Everytime I brought my recyclables to AAA I've never had any issues! Staff is friendly, in and out quick!

5-star all the way. I moved to Merced over a year ago. I don't do it daily anymore, but I do still recycle. I had been going to places in Merced until today. The Merced locations I used never really did it for me. They weren't better than just OK. I went to AAA Recycling in Atwater today and I found my place. They are located on Atwater Blvd. Easy to find and get to. They have very large see through bins. They seem to be a family run establishment and we're all very nice people. I was able to get in, cash out and get out in almost no time at all. I will no longer go anywhere else. Great job AAA!
