Bought a car from them in December of 2019.
Pros: They're easy to negotiate with. They don't charge ridiculous fees for things in the sale. Easy people to deal with.
Why I'm giving them 2 starts is: When I purchased the car, it had a decent amount of issues. The steering wheel would shake violently when I would brake. They were nice enough to fix it.
But then I noticed that the car had a weird balance issue that would cause the car to jolt to one side when coming out of a turn. No rhyme or reason. I called Ed to let him know and immediately was met with resistance and was told how they had meticulously checked the car before giving it back to me.
Mind you, half my initial problem was due to sheer oversight. The car was missing brake fluid, hadn't had an alignment, a rotor had to be resurfaced. I was being told that the car would not be checked this time around.
Took it to a shop that specializes in Z's Turns out that the front tires were so out of shape the car was just bouncing to one side because one tire would physically not touch the ground for a split second. After looking at the tires, it seems that the rear tires were changed, but the front tires were not. All of them got replaced and got another alignment. Issue was fixed.
Had to get the transmission fluid changed because they had used the wrong fluid in the car. Not sure if this was the previous owner or this dealer's shop. Either they didn't change the fluid or they didn't know what they should be using. Not good whichever way you put it. They never replaced the break pads after they resurfaced the rotors either. Which is standard practice for any shop that knows what their doing.
Paint on the hood and bumper is chipping away. Whoever did the paint did a horrible job. Took it to a paint shop and they said that they used such little paint and clear coat which is why it's just chipping at the slightest rock and just picked the paint off the hood with his nail. I knew the car had front end damage and that both the front bumper and hood were replaced, but they used white primer on the replacement parts so every chip of the paint shows, and the car just looks horrible after only 6 months.
So my issues go with the quality of the car. I had to spend an extra 1700 on the car for issues that came from initial purchase of things that should have been changed as the car was completely unsafe to drive in such condition. The hood and bumper will probably be another 1000+ to repaint properly
I was told by Ed that I would never find a used Z for the price I purchased it for. At this point, I should have just bought a used one without the salvaged title for some more money and a better quality of car. Will not recommend this place to anyone I know, and will not be buying from them again.
