Heard good things about the food and service. On a nice Sunday afternoon, my family and I decided to make a trip from Oroville to Gridley to try out this Chinese restaurant. After living in Los Angeles for 20 years and have eaten authentic Chinese cuisine, we were seeking that taste again. The atmosphere of the restaurant is small and quite. The service is excellent, price is a bit high for certain items, and food was decent. I was not wowed by the taste. We ordered the orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, green bean in garlic sauce, combination low mein (big, soft noodles), and steam rice. The steam rice was ok but the noodles was very tasty. This I would recommend.
I didn't have the option to rate them 3.5 stars, and didn't want to low ball the restaurant. I decided on 4 stars. For this area, I guess this as good as it gets. I don't believe we will return. Still seeking that taste.
