Kids are watching TV too much. And director Stephanie changes her words often according to her mood and parents' reaction to her. Low trust!
When I saw these two outdated reviews. I needed to write my own. I have to say I am extremely picky on many things when it comes to my children. I felt the need to update the review on ABC Little School because it IS so opposite of what these two reviews are mentioning and how old they are. I have two kids. My first child, my daughter. Started 3 years ago at 18 months and graduated in June to attend public school in Burbank. My second, my son is still attending. He is now 3 years old has been there since he was 18 months.
While at ABC Little school many improvements have been made in the past 3 years. Such as putting in new playgrounds with safe outdoor flooring and artificial eco-grass. Each playground is designated for the appropriate ages. There is an outdoor science corner, a garden area where children learn about agriculture. This school has so many activities (ex.dance, music, karate, computers, etc) and other learning tools to teach the children about academics, social interaction, fine motor skills and most important how to have fun while learning. Not only have they improved the look and added certain features but, have made the necessary changes to the teaching staff. The teachers there now. Are truly AMAZING. Every teacher has their own contribution to how they instruct each child. Not only do they teach but, care and have compassion for each child and their necessities. My daughter is a great example. She was extremely shy and had a hard time participating in a group atmosphere. When she graduated from ABC Little School she not only became more outgoing but she is now in front of people doing recitals and shows at her new school. Also on the academic aspect: when she went in for her kindergarten assessment she knew the answers to all the questions asked. I owe this to the teachers and one in specific. Her Pre-K teacher, Ms. Denise. She really stuck by my daughter and gave her the attention she needed to be prepared for public school. I saw my daughter improve in such a short time.
Now, my son has had amazing teachers between Ms. Tammy who teaches the two year old class. Where they learn how to communicate, use their fine motor skills, colors and more. She is so caring and giving to these children. It's exactly the type of teacher a two year old needs. Now he has Ms. Maribel also an incredible teacher. Who has more of an academic approach but with a very creative methods to teaching letters, shapes and numbers. She always has activities going on. I do want to add that for every holiday like Mother's day, Father's day, and especially the holiday season every class will put together a show and activities for the proper holiday. Going back to the ABC Little School's staff. I don't want to single out just these teachers. In the end it is not only a school but also a daycare and each teacher plays a role in taking care and instructing these little beings. I have invested time and money through my kids at ABC Little School and I have seen other schools. ABC Little School has given me the piece of mind that my children are safe, fed and being educated in a clean and well kept environment. To conclude, going through ABC Little School's system and care. It really prepares the child for later years. Especially public school. I have referred others to ABC Little School. I just tell them: tour the school, speak to the teachers and see for yourself. It is a great little community of teachers, students and parents.
