Most unprofessional experience Ive ever had with a staffing agency. I applied for a position I found online and it stated we should email recruiter Dustin S. about the position. After emailing him my resume and applying, I received a confusing robotic-sounding email from him the next day in which he stated "I found your resume on a Job Board and based on your experience I believe that we have a position that matches your skills." Below that introduction he basically just copied and pasted the information I had already saw on the job board the day before about the position going over the pay and requirements (and he knew that I saw this based on my email to him). He didn't say "I'd like to interview you" or "call me if interested" or anything in the email. He just ended the email with "regards, Dustin S." It was as if I read a job posting online, applied for the job, then he just sent me the job posting again as if I hadn't already known about it and he didn't follow through with any type of follow-up on this like as if we just went in a full circle. Very poor communication skills for a recruiter. So I emailed back and stated I'm definitely interested and stated "feel free to call me to discuss this further and I'll also try to reach you as well". So I called him and left a voicemail, waited all day and called him again at the end of the day but didnt leave a voicemail so as not to annoy him. I then called him again the next day, left another voicemail, but he never replied to my email and never returned any of my calls. Three days later I then thought "well maybe hes out sick or on vacation so I should speak to someone else there." I called Superior Group directly and spoke to a gentleman who didnt know what position I was referring to and said Dustin was still with the company and is probably just busy and I should assume the position was filled if I dont hear from him. With all the staffing agencies in the valley to choose from, this is the ONLY one that I've ever had an unprofessional experience with. If you filled the position quickly then be a professional, be courteous, have integrity, and call people back to tell them that like every other staffing agency does in Los Angeles.

Lanee was personable, kind, and a terrific resource as I went through the interviewing process. Would recommend her without reservation.

First time experience with Acara and my last time guaranteed. I was working with Dustin Smith and supposedly he found me a job which he said he was going to send me the paper work to finalize my starting date. So I declined all my other offers thinking I’m going to start this new job. But they never sent it, I called countless times and left text messages, voicemails, emails, I even called them and left his supervisor the same things. It’s been about two weeks and no calls no replies what so ever. The receptionist was also so quick to transfer before hearing you out too, and a week and a half prior to this someone else contacted me on Justin Smiths behalf and said he was going to give me a follow up back but apparently he never did too. Acara is so unprofessional and they don’t care about there clients not one bit, if you’re reading this go find an agency that actually cares about you and responds in time. Don’t be misled by the fake positive comments on the reviews about Acara because it’s total BS! Know your worth! They expect you to be on time and on point, but can’t return the same decency and that’s pathetic.
