I contracted Ace Landscaping to install a field fence. I purchased all supplies in advance, as I was originally planning on doing the work myself. Once work started, it seemed all was well. When they started to stretch the fence, they didn’t brace the end posts or corners as I had instructed them to and because they didn’t the fence lost it’s shape and sagged. I complained, and they came back and did some work. After I inspected the second round, I found posts were not properly cemented in the ground, post heights were erratic, spacing of posts were all off, and many posts were set off center. I complained again and indicated they need to come fix it or they will be fired. The owner finally called me and proceeded to get confrontational with me, cursed me and made excuses. I fired him and instructed they come get their few supplies left on my property.
I would never do business with them again and highly suggest no one else does either. They clearly don’t know what they are doing. Im giving them no stars as they are the worst contractors I’ve ever dealt with.
It’s been a day since I fired Ace Landscaping. I’ve discovered that I have to redo 90% of what they did. As I mentioned above the posts were wrong, but now I have determined that 80% of the posts were wrong and had to be reset. Which means they waisted not only my time but a lot of money in cement. On top of all that none of the T-posts were straight, on center or at a uniform depth. So I have to pull up all the T-posts and reset them too. I inspected my wire fence and they have destroyed most of the fencing. I’ll have to replace everything they touched.
Grand total these people have waisted is nearly $800 in materials, plus my time to fix their shoddy work.
Thanks again terrible people at Ace Landscaping!! I sure learned my lesson to not hire a fencing contractor. I’m better off doing it myself so it gets done right the first time.
