I had a strange experience at this place. My first visit was awesome - the staff was incredibly friendly and the provider performed an ultrasound right at bedside, interpreting his findings on the spot. He identified my pain with specific diagnoses, told me to order some orthotics and set a follow up appointment to later customize them. He said he was optimistic that I’d be back in working order within 60 days. I felt great about this visit and recommended him to friends.
Fast forward a couple weeks, I had my second appointment. The doctor seemed to not remember me (which is fine - I don’t necessarily take it personally) and refreshed his memory by hurriedly reading his notes aloud in the room. He then spouted off that I had injuries on the insides of my feet that he had not mentioned at the previous visit. Before, he had explicitly mentioned that those tendons were in great shape.
When I asked him when to expect to be able to return to regular activity, his prior optimism was no longer there. He told me, a 30-year old woman, that I will be dealing with this issue all of my life, shrugged his shoulders, and said “bummer!” Though he may be correct in saying that, the poor bedside manner in delivering what I received as a very traumatic prognosis and the discrepancy in diagnostic information from the previous visit created in me a lack of confidence in his assessment.
There was nothing he could do for me or recommend, besides further customized orthotics. He recommended one more follow-up appointment for this.
Overall, the strange lack of recognition, hurried attitude and contradicting information made me feel like he had me mixed up with someone else. I see how his practice is helpful to a lot of patients — but I personally will not be returning.
