UPDATE: DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. The owner is insisting that it was (somehow??) MY fault that they did not show up or text or call to notify me that they would not show up. I got the most rude, embarrassingly immature and astonishingly unprofessional responses from Robert after writing this review. Let me be clear, I confirmed with him multiple times and received no communication after confirming the time last night. It is not my fault that Advance booked an emergency job with me and then DID NOT SHOW UP, CALL OR TEXT. After my experience paired with the owners response, I assume they carry this childish, no-accountability attitude into all their work. As such, I wouldn't let them near my projects - god forbid they make a mistake when they work on your house, I'm sure that will be the customers fault too! DON'T waste your time, energy or money. Learn from my mistake.
Not reliable, don't count on the appointment time and don't call for an emergency. Booked for an emergency - needed a simple fix for a shorted-out light switch before a house inspection, so I rushed to find someone who could be here within 24 hours, with a hard deadline at noon today (a deadline I emphasized three separate times for this booking.) Confirmed last night with Advance that they would be here by 10 am, or earlier if possible. Started to wonder where they were this morning when it hit 10:15, assumed it was traffic, which would have been fine - went to look up their number here and low and behold, I have a Yelp message (with NO call or text) saying they're changing the booking time to 2 pm. After I confirmed THREE TIMES that I needed someone here by ten because the job needs to be finished at NOON. Thank you, Advance, for turning an anxiety provoking emergency into a true full-blown crisis for me today. You cost me time, money, and a whole lot of energy by being so unreliable.
