Disclaimer: This review in no way reflects Dr. Kramer and his competency as a dermatologist. He is wonderful, knowledgable, and extremely caring.
I really dislike writing negative reviews, as I find it to be redundant and often entangled in personal issues.
I've been a long-time patient of Aesthetic Dermatology, and a patient of Dr. Kramer for 11 years. Through the years, I've slowly noticed a decline in customer service. It seems like ever since the sweet front desk gal left years ago (Marie), their front office has become a total disaster. The red head gal up front is extremely rude, condescending, and has no interpersonal skills. The way she spoke to me about needing to do my lab work two days prior to my appointment (which was never communicated to me) was unacceptable. Dealing with her each visit is like pulling teeth.
Every time you call the office, you'll sit on hold for up to 15 minutes. The ridiculous amount of time I've spent waiting in the lobby, almost an hour past my booked appointment time, is unacceptable. Their lobby is jam packed with patients every time, and I finally got to the point of having to take an entire day off work just to attend a 20 minute appointment. They never respond to time-sensitive prescription issues, nor do they return phone calls. They are extremely over-booked, and it's not a good look on their practice. I'm very empathetic with how negatively practices were hit by the COVID shutdown, but the above things are not acceptable excuses. Unfortunately, my family and I will not be returning as patients in the future.
