I would rate this vet office poorly, except for the receptionist with the red hair and our vet tech, who were nice. However, everyone else seemed indifferent.
I traveled a long distance to get here because my dogs needed healthcare, and the estimates from vets in my area were either too expensive or didn't have any available appointments soon. I shouldn't have mentioned this to them because they provided me with an estimate that was outrageously high and likely to increase further with additional charges.
Someone once told me that they had a great experience at this office but it was years ago.
During my visit, I overheard another client, a senior citizen, in the reception room asking to use the restroom, only to be told, "There is no public bathroom." I found this incredibly rude. This client wasn't just a member of the public; she was a paying customer who had just spent a significant amount at their establishment. She had been waiting since before my arrival, and despite my appointment delay, she was still there when I left. The way she was treated reflected poorly on the office's professionalism and the lack of empathy could not be ignored.
After driving two hours with my sick dogs and waiting for my appointment, I also needed to use the restroom. Knowing the likely response, I didn't bother to ask and instead went to a gas station, leaving my anxious dogs in the car with the engine running for the A/C.
Initially, when I called and spoke with the receptionist with the red hair, she was professional and caring, which initially gave me a positive impression of the place. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The office should reconsider its branding as "affordable," as my experience suggested otherwise. Overall, it was the most impersonal and uncaring vet visit I've encountered. It felt like a waste of time and money, and to add to it, the facility was not well-maintained considering all the money they gouge you with. The place looks like it hasn't been updated in decades.
