I was very happy to discover Ahrens Child Care Center over 5 years ago as I looked for preschool options for my son. Ahrens came highly recommended from a friend who now has her fourth child starting preschool at Ahrens. With the tremendous foundations laid at Ahrens, our son has gone on to be a successful elementary student in public school. His teachers have complimented his classroom behavior, his willingness to volunteer and help others. His 2nd grade teacher, who has taught elementary school for over 25 years said he had never come across a student so dedicated, polite and helpful. My husband and I truly believe our son’s studious and good natured attitude were nurtured by his teachers at Ahrens. Our daughter followed her older brother into preschool and kindergarten having graduated from Ahrens in June 2015. We consider ourselves blessed that her formative years were shaped, in part, by the staff at Ahrens. Her reading, writing and arithmetic skills are remarkable and she will no doubt continue to shine in elementary school. One of the things we will surely miss is taking part in the annual Christmas Show. Not knowing quite what to expect our first year at Ahrens we were blown away at the production put together by the Ahrens staff. Every year the show continues to grow and there is nothing as delightful as seeing all the children perform. The kindergarten class is highlighted in the show and it is great to see their hard work preparing for the performance. Ahrens is family owned and operated and I believe this has been proven beneficial to the children of Redlands for over 30 years. My husband and I highly recommend Ahrens Child Care Center preschool and kindergarten programs to all our friends.
