Air Control was very communicative as they ordered the parts needed, scheduled the repairman, and actually came out on site to do the repair. The receptionist/dispatcher, Gina, was helpful in keeping me in the loop on what was going to happen when.
The service tech, Melvin, was thorough and super friendly. I felt respected and valued as a customer, even though I know precisely nothing about HVAC units. The job proved a little more difficult than initially expected, but Melvin was positive and resourceful throughout.
I didn't want to deal with HVAC repair, but now I'm fixed up and ready for a hot summer, so it's been a blessing in disguise that it failed in spring rather than summer.
I was assigned this company through my home warranty service. I was told someone would be contacting me from the company to schedule. After 3 days of not hearing from them I called them to schedule. Everything went fine, tech showed up and was nice and he said that I needed a new switch and he contacted the company and arranged for an electrician to come and replace “early next week”.
When Wednesday came around and I hadn’t heard from anyone to schedule I called them.. spoke to Brian and got everything scheduled for the electrician. The electrician no showed and so I called to find out why hadn’t come. I was told I would get a call back. I waited for a return call for over 30 min and didn’t hear anything. I called the company again… told them I was waiting on a call back. Was put on hold for 10 min and then Brian answered the phone and told me the electrician called in and wouldn’t be coming. This is now 2 hours after they were supposed to be at my house. Got the electric work done through another company.
Then the air conditioner that was supposedly fixed on the first call was still not working. My home warranty put in a recall for them to come and fix it. Again, no one called me to schedule and I called them. I spoke to Taylor who was exceptionally rude and cancelled my order and hung up on me. I told her I was unhappy with the service I had received from their company and requested to speak to someone in management. I was told that no one was there and that wouldn’t be an option. Because she cancelled the request and didn’t transfer it like she said she would i then had to escalate it through my home warranty company to get it reassigned to a new vendor. I’m completely baffled by the lack of customer service I had on 3 occasions with this company.. I would like the owner or manager to reach out should they read this review.
