Our Kitchenaide K5SS was built so long ago that the replacement power cord was not an exact fit. BUT AJAX showed us how to file the case on our old Kitchenaide to make the replacement part fit perfectly. Took all of 5 minutes to file out the slot for the new power cord. Total cost including tax was LESS THAN an internet order, AND we got EXPERT advice immediately and the appliance is working again in less than one day. The internet order would have taken 5 days snail mail. Thank you AJAX. We''' be back.

I spoke with John on the phone who said he runs the place about a burned out light bulb in my beloved Sharp microwave. He said they have some bulb lights for Sharp. I took the Microwave that was never opened before him to their store. He himself opened it right away while getting instructions from other technicians. I knew he was not a tech because he didn't use the right bench to disassemble the microwave. After a short time he said they don't have the right bulb light. I told him to put everything back the way it was, but he forgot couple of screws inside next to the Magnetron and the cover wasn't closed good. After few days, the Magnetron blew out. I called John about this and took the Microwave back to him. He said they can fix this for almost $80 not including the cost of the light bulb. He kept laughing at me this time only so I suspect he intentionally blew up to make more money from me thinking that I was a soft target. He couldn't believe me when I told him he didn't have to fix it anymore. He kept repeating that I should fix this microwave.

The guy that owns this place is as good as gold.
He only works on maybe three different brands of appliances. He knows everything about these appliances if you have one he can fix it.
He is not greedy. His prices range from silly cheap (of it ends up being something he can fix on the spot)to reasonable.
This is the kind of small business that we ought to want to bottle and Preserve
