I'm going to the PUC! This company is the worst. I have a person who parks in front of my house putting oil and food scraps in the blue recycling bin, so ACI won't pick it up. I called to tell them about the problem and they said tough, call the police...and next time we find something in wrong in the bin we'll charge you $39.00 to pick it up after you remove it. So, they add insult to injury and don't care about solutions or understanding. They just want their money. When I told the customer service rep this was out of my control, she didn't care. It's your problem, now give us MONEY (I paraphrase).

Last week they crashed into our building. This week they didn't bother to pick up our garbage. It's unfortunate there is a monopoly as they have zero incentive for decent service.

I see a few negative responses on here so I felt compelled to speak up. I have worked for this company for about 2 years and I have to say, they are one of the most reliable waste and recycling service providers around. Prior to this, I worked as a consultant for a bunch of different municipalities and companies, and I wouldn't have joined this company if it weren't for their responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to walking the talking when it comes to recycling and organics programs. They employ nearly 300 people right here in the Bay Area. Couldn't be prouder to work for ACI!
