Small stretch of beach full of friendly dogs my smaller dog could approach. It's not hard to get to. With a bad knee, it's hard to go to the beaches that you have to hike down and then back up when leaving. You park and straight walk to the beach.

I love this place for sunrises and sunsets. It is dog friendly. Go early for good parking. Bring a lite jacket for wind. Nice walking paths with photo opportunities. Clean bathroom available at the front.

It all depends on the wind. The park itself has trails which would be fun any day for a walk or bike ride, but if you’re looking to lounge on the beach for a few hours, Albany Beach may not be the best for you. Now if you have a dog, they would love it! I wouldn’t want to picnic here unless it was a calm day. Beautiful views of the city!
