Excellent service and smiley faces before you make the purchase; things turn downhill immediately after you put down your first payment. Got a call from Albert Lee today saying the appliances I purchased last year (yes I waited for A YEAR for them) will arrive next week and an installation has been scheduled. I called back, asked for delivery and installation on different dates, and paid the remaining balance, but got yelled at for no reason. I don't understand what provoked this guy or why he had such a terrible attitude towards me. I did not go to Albert Lee expecting superior service but it seems like they couldn't even get the basics sorted out without yelling at their customers.
Update: I reached out to the store’s manager and they apologized. From the experiences of other customers I talked to it seems that their business is so good these days that they won’t even bother doing any customer service. They sell you something then ignore you completely, or worse (yell at you). Their installation is also a disaster; their crew couldn’t install my fridge after coming 3 times. The last time they pushed the plug into the wrong hole and the fridge won’t power on. A bunch of people staring at the fridge for hours then told me “we can’t fix it”.
If you have to buy from them, try to find a good person to work with if you have the patience, but remember that service is never in their dictionary.
