I knew about this supermarket for quite some time now. Hubby shopped at ALDI when he was stationed in Germany. While visiting friend's in Cali, I finally got the opportunity to shop here, and I was so psyched! I love Trader Joe's, and this is the sister company. Make sure you have a quarter for a shopping cart. You will get it back when you return the basket. The store is not very big, but it has your basics and some...
Great prices on European chocolate candy/bars and the like. Also the dry salami, proscuitto, cappocola and various cheeses. Awesome deals to stock up on for anyone doing Keto. I also noticed prices on dairy, meats and produce. Ditto! They also had clearance prices on seasonal items. Keep an eye on them at the register because they were ringing up incorrectly. They charge 10 cents for a bag for your groceries, so take your own or pay.
The store is nicely organized and clean. An employee was pleasant and courteous, and helped us to find a sale item that we were unable to locate. Cashier was not very personable, and did not greet us. Overall, their prices are awesome, and I would shop at ALDI; if they opened up a few stores in Arizona. AL stands for Albrecht (founder of ALDI) DI for di skont (discount).
