I'll preface by saying that this Aldi is located at the crossroads of a gentrified H Street and about 4 different hoods. With that said, the crew at this store are able to keep shelves stocked, and their store clean and mostly peaceful. Every associate is helpful and not rude. They usually have the main items you'd come to an Aldi for. A bit smaller than suburban locations but definitely not lacking in the staples and brands you'd expect at an Aldi. The only criticisms are that the lines are usually incredibly long, and the restrooms can be pretty filthy between checks but those are really minor gripes and more due to how crowded the overall area is.

The staff are great, but the environment in the parking lot is relentless. My truck has been damaged by the cart quarter swipers. They follow people around, insist to return the cart, or even put groceries into vehicles...then slam the carts into parked cars rushing to get the free quarter.
