Best beer bottle/ can store in the world so far that I have found. Huge selection of premium beer. I drink ipa and they always have something I like. Especially Pliny the elder but I am always trying different ipa’s to see what’s out there. Super chill usually not too many people in there. Customer service is always chill (good thing)

I've been shopping at Ale Tales for about three years now. There's little doubt in my mind that this is the best bottle shop in the East Bay. Their selection is wide, with a solid back catalog of barrel aged staples, a revolving door of the latest hyped up hops, and fresh Pliny at an unbeatable price (unless you want to go to Santa Rosa).

Depending on what day you go in, you may also have a wonderful customer service experience. Sam and the owner are incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Apart from the strong selection, a large part of what has kept me coming back are the recommendations and conversations they've both given me.

Fantastic, rotating beer selection. Scores of craft beers of all variety. Mix and match anything in the store. Best place I’ve found for finding new beers.
