One of their realtors, Maryanne Schmidt, exhibited extremely unprofessional behavior during my apartment search. She abruptly cancelled my appointment for an apartment tour the day before without as much as an email or text explaining why my appointment was cancelled. I had to find out my appointment was cancelled through a Google notification. If there is this level of unprofessionalism and callousness exhibited during the search process, I can only imagine what it would be like to work with them as a tenant.

After collecting a total of $100 in "application fees," the company informed me that the apartment I applied for was temporarily unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. They stated that it might take 4-6 weeks before applications could be accepted again. Furthermore, they refused to refund the "application fees," claiming that these were collected by another entity, not them. This justification is clearly unacceptable. It is unreasonable for the company to prevent tenants from securing an unit due to their own unprofessionalism, yet still refuse to refund the application fees. I noticed that other people have also experienced similar issues, and I regret not reading those reviews earlier. I am now preparing to take this case to small claims court.
