We are so glad we found this place. my kid suffered so long that we are very relieved to start allergy SHOTS. Having huge reactions to tree pollen and dust. Eending up with pneumonia every year. Yes, They only do allergy shots 3 days a week, but that’s common in Gig Harbor. We were happy our insurance covered most of it, at 80%. Allergy Shots worked for my husband years ago and now we r getting them for our kid. I met a lot of people who did not get all 3-4 years of allergy shots. Thats the only way to build up an immunity. A couple months won’t work! Unless u r prepared to stick it out. You can take the viles with you if you’re traveling to get your shots. But I believe they need to stay refrigerated. make a plan and stick to it. You can do it!

Honestly, the worst! Where to begin...... I was referred here by my PCP for some skin issues. A medical assistant ran the allergy test pricking my arm with various allergens to see how I reacted. 30 minutes later a doctor came in and told me about his college glory days of drinking and parting. No issues resolved no advice given! They charged my insurance company over $1,000 for the test and I payed a co pay $150. Months later I was refinancing my home and ran a credit check. The allergy doctor sent me to collections for 169.00. I was unaware that I had an outstanding balance. Hard to believe because they had already been paid over $1,100 for 30 minutes of a medical assistants time and 10 minutes of the doctors time. Now my son is having some severe allergy issues and his pediatrician referred us to this office and they refuse to see us due to the fact they sent us to collections. (THAT I WAS UNAWARE OF) This office is the epitome of what is wrong with the US healthcare system....... I understand not wanting to see me but my 3 year old son with facial swelling. Thank you for the care and compassion DOCTOR.

Their hours available for shots are extremely limited at the Gig Harbor office. Due to the limits, I was unable to get two shots per week, and in the end, my serum expired before I could use it. Luckily my insurance paid for 80% of the charges, but it was needless waste and difficult to make progress in my treatment. I requested a call back from the doctor, but it never came. If there is another option available, I'd recommend trying the alternative.
