A very nice park with a lake in the middle and a few trails that surround it. It has plenty of picnic areas, bbq, and a playground for kids to play. The park feels safe. Pros: The picnic areas are separated so you don't get bothered by other groups. Cons: The parking fee. In a side of the park, you can park on the street. On the other side of the park, that option does not exist.
People have trained the geese and squirrels that you may have food for them so they harass you for a bit and return anytime they hear some crinkle similar to food packaging. 😥 Lots of people fish in many areas but I would do catch and release as the water is contaminated and not stocked with game fish for consumption.
Walking around the lake is a nice walk just know to complete the walk go under the Coleman bridge and over the trail and back under. Or you can take the trail to Oakridge from there... Nice respectful cyclists share trails with you. Lots of parking with self pay stations in the lots.
