I had an excellent dinner experience at Alto Vino sf. The food and service were excellent. Every bite my son in law had came out with a loud Mmmmm! Chef Nick Kelly, his lovely wife Calli, and the whole staff made it warm and welcoming. Delicious food, service and ambiance. Too bad I live more than 70 miles away.

Great service, food, and cute decor. Highly recommend. I got the 10hr bolognese parppadelle and tortellini in broth and both were amazing. The portions are kinda small so order extra if you are hungry.

I felt fortunate to find this lovely restaurant. Food as good as any place I’ve ever been and I’ve eaten in Rome and Venice. Unpretentious. Gracious servers. A real find.,
