2022 - Quite good! 5/5. Did a couple of the more loaded options, and we enjoyed. Very flavourful toppings. Light and fluffy crust. Medium thickness, and good topping to crust ratio.
24,27 update: 4/5 still darn tasty, but not as good as I remember. I had the Seattle favorite pesto Pizza on Pan crust. Solid, but not as flavorful as I was hoping for. Just a bit muted, especially with the pesto which surprising me.
Well the pizza was good but I ordered 3 slices, one plain, one pepperoni, and one meat lovers slices to go and when I opened the box it looked like they just thru my slices in the box. Like they was playing hoops with my slices. I was a little disappointed with that but they didn't taste bad at all even served lukewarm. The other issue I had was the bathroom. It was a mess and no toilet paper. I just thought they would have a better presentation with everything especially being that a saw the words gourmet somewhere in that restaurant.
We tried Amante on a whim and were not disappointed.
I had the Florence which has a tomato base and toppings that included tomato, spinach, mushroom, mozzarella, and ricotta. The flavors married well and the crust was good (a nice texture without being too hard/crisp). My only critique is that the crust in the center was a bit soggy. I'm sure this was from the fresh tomato.
We also had a cheese pizza with extra cheese. This pizza was actually my favorite as it was the pizza which I had been searching for over the last few years that eluded me until now. The tart flavor of the mozzarella along with its oiliness were perfect with the tomato base and crust.
I'll definitely be returning.
