The theatre we were in smelled and the seats were uncomfortable. It was a hot day, so we went to get out of the heat, and it felt like they didn't turn the A/C on until after the movie had started. It went from way too hot the first 15 minutes of the movie to too cold the rest of it. I think it depends on the theatre you get. The ones with reclining seats I'd assume would be more comfortable.

This theater, which is located inside the Vancouver Mall, is a bit unique. It has two floors to the majority of the theater rooms, a lower level and a second floor level with overall comfortable leather seats. They have a small gaming arcade with some different games to include a air hockey table. They have a concession stand of food, drinks, and snacks with bathrooms behind the food concession stand. They have additional bathrooms halfway down the hall with water fountains right outside of the restrooms in the theater hallway. They also have a few mini-cozier theater rooms with a three step tier of unique seats including full cushioned lounge chairs with pillows and some rooms even have full-size beds in the very front and these rooms have a LED light electric fireplace heater in the center of the room opposite of the theater doorway. These mini-cozier theater rooms are usually a little bit more expensive and are for the movies that are preparing to exit the theater to no longer be shown. Currently this mall theater is undergoing some construction renovations as well.

Decent AMC theater inside Vancouver Mall. The luxury seats are not as good as I thought they were. They have some balcony seating that I actually find pretty nice but it's just the seats up there that I'm not convinced. One thing I find a little annoying about this AMC is that I don't think they have adequate staff sometimes. Lines at the entrance would get too long because there are some customers who still have to choose seats or don't know how to use a gift card and there's only one staff at the counter for the longest time. So be sure to give yourself extra time before going for your movie just to make sure. Overall I like this place enough because of the convenience of the location being inside a mall.
