Me and my wife decided to grab a quick lunch today while we were in the area. The service started slow (nearly half an hour to put in an order) but it got better from there. While we were waiting, we got to enjoy the ambiance and watch planes take off and land right from our table.
We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, the French Onion soup, and the Chicken Fried Steak. They break down as follows:
Spinach Dip: 3.5/5 It had a nice layer of crisp cheese on top, but was definitely more on the “creamy” side of things which made a mess when trying to eat it. That aside, the garlic bread that came with it was absolutely delicious, but was 1-2 pieces short of being enough for the amount of dip. Might order again.
French Onion Soup: 4 The wife said it had plenty of cheese and was served hot. Would order again.
Chicken Fried Steak: 3/5 It arrived hot and fresh, though a bit late compared to everything else we ordered. Unfortunately, everything on this plate was bland. Usually sausage will add some flavor to your gravy but I’m not sure what happened here. The mashed potatoes had no flavor either and the corn was a bit mushy and overcooked. Wouldn’t order again.
Towards the end of our meal, one of the owners stopped by our table and introduced himself and mentioned his wife was working at the bar. He was very friendly and it added a nice touch.
While not everything we ordered was a slam dunk, the location added a fun element to the dining experience and we will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.
Very impressive and excellent service! Serving sizes are very good! Prices are good! I highly recommend them‼️ Desserts are homemade! We would definitely give them an 11 out of 10 stars! Amanda was our server and she's very, very good! Excellent service!! She is also the baker for all their desserts. We will definitely be back.
