Came in looking for new pajama bottoms but left with a sweater that I've had in my online cart for months. Crystal helped me with sizing and was a joy to chat with. As a fellow retail worker I truly appreciated her customer service and how she made me feel like a friend of hers. I usually make the trek to the Wash.Sq location but she is a reason why I will return to Tanasbourne. Thank you Crystal!

I had a terrible experience at the tanasborne store today. Usually when I go to American Eagle I have at least four employees asking if they can help me find anything- this location… nothing, when I wanted to try on clothes the girl looked so annoyed to have to help me get into a dressing room, and then when I went to check out I showed my student ID, as every other American Eagle location gives a discount if you’re a student, and she was like “nope, we don’t do that. Can’t help you”. I put back the jeans I wanted to wear to thanksgiving and got out of there.

I've been to this location many times dating back to middle school/high school yeaes. Have always loved their jeans and even though this location is the closest, i would rather go to the one out in Washington square. I don't understand what it is but everytime i have gone I've had the WORST customer service, i don't know if it's because I'm curvy or because I'm old(late 20s). I thought i was crazy for so long and just over exaggerating, but EVERYTIME they welcome the young and skinny women coming in, ask if they need anything, ask if they need a dressing room; i waited 10 minutes(i know not bad) while these girls look at me standing for a dressing room and continue talking; then this other girl comes up and helps me but didn't ask for my name. A few seconds later another person wants a dressing room, gets help right away, writes her name down, and asks if there is a different size they need to get. I've been so fed up with this place and not being equal, we're not in highschool, customer service is a thing, and we are in 2022 the world is changing and people need to realize not everyone will be 00.
