It was 7:30 on Monday night. I had just drove in from Spokane looking for this VFW. I pulled into I guess was the parking lot. There was a sign stating members only. I had my car engine running, and was looking for the phone number for this VFW. A man in a big white pick-up pulls up next to me & said,”can’t you read the sign?” I tried to explain I wasn’t parking here, in which he replied,”you’re not parked?” I just pulled over to get the phone number. He gave me a dirty look & left. My dad was a member of this VFW years ago & he recently passed away. I was coming here with the hopes of finding someone who knew him... but with this kind of reception, I don’t think I’d be welcome. So sad!

Great bunch of people here. Very friendly & excepting to new people, so long as your there with a member. This is a private club/bar that you have to be a member to go. I went with an old friend I was visiting.

Very cool building. The mural on the side is worth a look. I wanted to go inside but they were closed due to water issues.
