The main reason for staying at this hotel was because it was relatively cheap and it had a shuttle to Disney. The hotel room was relatively clean and the shuttle was convenient in the mornings. The shuttle was not as convenient at night. The buses are small and don't allow standing, so buses fill up very quickly.
Unfortunately they don't let you check in early unless you pay an extra 50 dollars even if it's 20 minutes early, so there is a long wait to check in since everyone is arriving at the same time.
The hotel is in desperate need of an update. The elevators are ridiculously small. Overall, the rooms looked very dated and there is no microwave in the room. It was also a struggle to find an outlet that worked on the nightstand. The room's airflow wasn't great so our noses felt a bit stuffy when waking up. The shower's water pressure was also very harsh and couldn't be adjusted to a more comfortable pressure.
We payed for a cot throughout our stay and while it was a nice twin bed mattress, be aware that the bed frame is very squeaky so any movement you make on it will be loud and annoying.
Overall our stay wasn't bad if you're on a budget, but I don't think we will be staying here again.
I was wary of the hotel from the reviews, but I got a great vacation package deal through Costco Travel and decided to give it a go. It went above and beyond my expectations! We stayed in a Tower King Suite and the room was massive, clean, and overall very nice. The staff was friendly and you can't beat the free park shuttle, even if it's sometimes just a school bus and the timing is a little off. Beats spending hundreds of dollars in Uber trips. The food from the deli was pretty good, the hotel was decorated adorably for Halloween, had a decent pool and hot tub.
The only very small downsides to our room were that the bedroom was always significantly hotter than the living room, like the air conditioning didn't circulate effectively or maybe it was the sun beaming through the big bay window but oh well. And the bedroom only had one light and it was a table lamp? Like, no other lamps in the room, no ceiling light, which I thought was odd.
But honestly those 2 things were fine to deal with. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by our stay, had a wonderful time and I think this hotel is a great option for Disneyland!
