Dr. Fyntrilakis has been my mother's physician for many years. My mother has Alzheimer's disease and her care can be difficult to manage. Dr. Fyntrilakis has always spent the time needed to patiently care for her. I would highly recommend her!!

I’ve been debating writing a review for a few years now as I’m not one to bash others but felt like it was the right time to discuss why I would not recommend Dr. Fyntrilakis. The only reason I’m giving any stars is because she is nice as was the staff but as a doctor in general she really doesn’t listen to your concerns as a patient. I believe I started seeing her in 2018 and stopped at the end of 2020. I randomly started becoming very dizzy, faint, fast heart rate, no energy, tired all the time.. etc and asked to get my iron checked as I had previously tried going vegetarian for about 6ish months.. she gave me just the standard blood draw as I had a feeling I was iron deficient. Looking at my labs and doing research, my labs had indeed showed iron deficiency without anemia. Although, she had messaged me saying my labs were “normal” and requested a follow up. How are they normal when they are completely out of range and everything I am describing to you- is symptoms of iron deficiency?! I went in for my follow up and she said I just had anxiety (which clearly, when I feel horrible everyday and that was the start of the covid era) and said she said she could prescribe anxiety medication for me. I could not believe she totally disregarded my symptoms and wanted to just give me a prescription for “anxiety” which I instantly declined. I stopped seeing her right after this and was diagnosed soon after with SVT (supraventricular tachycardia) which had landed me at the ER. I was told by a family member to advocate for myself and to see a functional doctor instead and I am SO GLAD I DID! I did in fact have severe iron deficiency, and low b12 which likely contributed to how I was feeling and the SVT episode. Dr. Fyntrilakis never even cared to look at ferritin and never thought to look at celiacs disease either which I was also diagnosed with. Since being with a functional doctor, I am feeling so much better- iron levels improving and actually feel heard!!!
