Only giving two stars because I grew up on this island went to elementary school there. And have now been taking my family camping there every year for the past 3 years. Have never had any problems and this past Weekend we went camping with a group of 9 people.. 4 of witch were kids ranging from 8 to 3 we had 4 ice chests of drinks and food we needed to keep cold and brought 10 bags of ice over with us but it wouldn’t last the 5 days we were there well the 3ed day I went to the store to buy 5 bags to stock them back up not problem. Went back the next day grabbed 2 bags for our lunch stuff to go to the beach cam back for 4 more for the meat ice chest for the last time and they told us they were limiting our amount of ice because we are buying to much . Mind you they have a ice machine so the real problem is they were to lazy to do their jobs and restock the ice cooler. She proceeds to tell my mom that they have to go to the main land them selfs to pick up all the items in the store. Like is buying things all weekend was an inconvenience to them .... well maybe you shouldn’t have a store then. Like I wasn’t paying super high prices for the convenience of them being on the island . I would give 0 stars but SOME of the people working their do have manners and are decent people .

Treated very rudely by female employee at your store. Small island with a great feel and friendly community. You should give some basic customer service requirements to this employee. She clearly has an attitude that does not fit this great place.

I'm a local and I do a lot of my daily shopping here. The owner does a great job of stocking essentials like bread, butter, vegetables, and ice cream ;) If you are considering living here, this won't give you Fred Meyer selection, but don't let it scare you. This is not necessarily where you would go for a large shopping trip, but you can certainly get everything you need. Beyond the basics, there is also a deli, a hardware section, and movie rental. Also has a solid wine and spirits selection if you are into that. All is delivered with a friendly, small-town feel, making it a fun experience if you are just here on vacation. We love our store, you will to!
