Only rental on the island and the price reflects it ($16/hour or $64/day). Biking around the perimeter road was amazing so they still get 3 stars but price was a bit of a shock. Decent quality Bianchi hardtail mountain bikes in the $700 range but needs some TLC. The bike i got had worn out tires, loose items like seat post clamp and wheel quick release, and gear shifting slightly out of adjustment. If you're camping, the day rental rate includes keeping the bike overnight until 10am the next day.
Rental in the only bike rental place in Tiburon can be slightly cheaper ($40 for 8 hours, but more if camping). Probably cheapest to rent in SF.
