During one of our frequent winder windstorms, a 50-foot wild cherry tree at the bottom of our garden was uprooted and knocked over, The falling tree took several other trees with it. The scene was a mess. We were given the names of Angel and Diego, who agreed to clean up the mess, saw up the tree trunks, and remove all the debris.
In a feat of strength, these two men worked all day, with no machinery but chain saws, hefted the logs over the 150 yards to where their truck was parked, cut the logs and debris to fit in the truck bed, and blow-dried the garden. They stopped only once for a bite to eat. What they said they would do, they did. Michael Mates
