SCAM!
I shopped my wedding dress at the off the rack shop of Anita’s bridal. Loved the dress straight away but had lot of alterations to do. I got told that it was possible to do in 2 days (since I had a flight to take) for under 300 dollars for all the alterations Including adding sleeves. At that time i was so excited !
On the fitting day, out of nowhere, the price went up to 600 dollars including the sleeves that were supposed to be including in the first price. Since I had paid for the dress already, they knew they could bring the price up for the alterations because I couldn’t say no.
The salesman keeps saying there was a “language barrier” and that he said it was going to be no less than 300 dollars which was a lie!
So for me they have great dress for great prices but if you need to do alterations, ask them to write the price in advance on a quote otherwise you will get scammed like me!
