Anjuna Recording Studio has become my go-to recording space in the PNW. Actually, I love it so much that I just flew out there from Nashville to work on my upcoming record! Nashville, of course, has a studio on every corner LOL, but Anjuna just has a special vibe, and Slater Swan (owner/operator/engineer) is one of the loveliest cats you will find in this business. I often find myself drooling at his exquisite microphone and outboard gear collection, not to mention his incredible control room, which is faultless from an acoustic perspective. The place has style and has been beautifully curated across the board. Highly recommended!

Dream Studios are possible and I've found it at Anjuna!! I've been lucky enough to record at some amazing world class studios and Anjuna has everything you would want in that experience and more. Slater is an amazing engineer that doesn't just push button but fully immersed himself in the music that you are creating!!!!! Now ju know!!

If you're looking for a great recording studio in Portland Oregon, Look no further that Anjuna Recording Studio in S.E. Portland. When I first found his website and was looking at it, I thought, "this looks likes the perfect studio for me" and .... I was right! I just finished recording my new Album there and everything was first flight. First of all, Slater put a lot of thought, effort and money into to ambience and that helped create a great vibe from beginning to end! Then he has the right equipment. A Hammond B-3 in top condition and a Fender Rhodes and Clavinet ... and we used all three. The drum set is really great as well ....including the cymbals. Slater was helpful, encouraging, accommodating and also fun to work with. His console and all aspects of recording equipment are all top shelf. And ... his rates are very reasonable too!Treat yourself to a great recording experience at Anjuna!!!
