I am very unhappy with the timeline of this project. When the project initially began, we had to hold off for a week because of funds. Unfortunately, we're not made of money and had to apply for a loan. When I met Lincoln for the first time, he told me "It's your guys fault the project was delayed a week". Yes it was, we didn't have the money to pay you. That is NO WAY to speak to a customer. I work with contractors all day and for several years now. I have never had one speak to me the way he did. On top of that several times we didn't have any work being done on our pool for several days in a row. The party line was “well we have a lot of other projects going on right now." That tells me we are not a priority. But that also tells me you guys are not managing your time and allocations properly. There is no reason I (as a customer) should suffer because of that. If you couldn't start the job you shouldn't have taken the job. This whole experience has been a nightmare. We had an entire week where there was absolutely no movement. Then 2 weeks ago, we were told GUARANTEED FINISHED BY MAY 25TH. Guess what it's May 25th. Looks like the work won’t be completed till Friday. At least I'm hoping so. My point is, don't take the job if you can’t keep your word. Don't take the job if you can’t keep the timeline and don't make promises you can’t keep. I have had contractors unable to take a job at the time I wanted, but were able to provide me a cohesive timeline and stick to it. As a customer, this experience has been terrible and it would have been better. Had I not been blamed for having to start one week later because we didn't have the money to pay you guys? Also, had another week with no work being done and then had the guys come on the weekend to catch up because work wasn't being done. And to top it all off, the sub-contractor who came to put the pool equipment together, showed up several times unannounced, no text no call, and got lucky that we were even home. One time he showed up on a Saturday at 6:30 pm, we were on our way out the door. Due to all of these inconveniences, I find we should be receiving discounted services. But I know that's unlikely. Please streamline the way you do things. I looked at your reviews and they we're all so great. I wonder where the amazing customer service is that is noted on there. I wonder why that wasn't offered to me. I wonder why my home wasn't a priority.
This is not a reflection on the workers. Who have done a beautiful and amazing job? They are working so hard every day. Out of everyone, they are the heart of the operation and I am very grateful to their hard work every day.
