You should be able to give minus stars for companies like Apex Septic Design. Just finishing building a new home. This is the fifth home I have built in my life and contractors can be a real challenge at times. Some are also great to work with as well. I have never worked with any company as bad as Apex Septic Design. It would take far too long to describe just how bad they were. They make a great first impression and they offer a large discount if you pay up front. What a huge mistake taking them up on that offer. Once they had the money I had to beg them to call or to get anything done month after month after month. They love to blame you or others for their failures of course. But the fact that I kept all e-mails with them proved them wrong. The frustration and cost of dealing with them made the whole process unbearable at times. PLEASE do yourself a favor and find anyone else to do your septic design. If you do decide to go with them pay them only as the job is done and not in advance no matter what discount they offer you! Updated Note: So the owner of Apex replies to my review asking me to contact them to discuss. Nothing he could say would make up for the months of torment in dealing with them but I made contact out of curiosity. It has been well over a month and as usual NO RESPONSE back once again. Seriously?!?
This company did a preliminary test on my property last August to determine if it would perc. They were responsive and helpful. They said I needed a High Water Table Test once it rained. On February 2, I called the company to schedule the test. I got no return call. I called again. No reply. And again and again. I emailed the owner and two other associates, and I had no response. I called again. Nothing.
I had my realtor get involved and they finally emailed her, apologized for the delays and promised to call the next day. No call. She emailed them a couple of times with no response. I've called and emailed with no response.
I have had to pay additional costs I wouldn't have incurred if the sale went through, and I'm risking not selling the property as currently anticipated.
I have no idea why they have ignored me, but beware if you every need subsequent services from them.
I notice all there good reviews were a couple of years ago, BTW.
