My mother and I had a traumatizing experience at this thrift store and it was all thanks to the store manager. My mother and I were shopping, she made a purchase of an item that was for sale for an amount of $20 and was reduced to 50%. Shortly after my mother had purchased and had been given the item in a bag, the manager walked in and asked the employee what had happened to the item my mother purchased. The employee told the manager my mom had already purchased it. The manager demanded to see the item and wrongfully accused my mother of purchasing an item that was not for sale. She even went as far as to snatch it from her hand. The employee was scared and apologized to my mother. My mother became extremely stressed and began having trouble breathing which ultimately led to her having a seizure. She passed out and seized twice, and we had to call an ambulance and the police to assist us. Once we called an ambulance and the police, the manager's whole attitude seemed to change, which made me even angrier. Why did it take a medical emergency for her to treat my mother with basic human decency? In all honesty, I would absolutely recommend avoiding this thrift store, unless you want to subject yourself to the terrible behavior and carelessness of the manager.
