Arrowhead Tree Top Lodge

Cozy quarters, some with kitchens, in a laid-back lodge offering hiking trails & an outdoor pool.

First, I'm cheap, paid about $130 a night, and during the holiday weekend, rooms in Lake Arrowhead were pricey ($300 + a night). Tree Top is an old style motel. Rooms were big, the bedding/towels were clean, and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. Close to the village(walkable). Parking is very limited. Would I stay again? Yes, if nothing else near the village or lake is reasonable during our stay.

Kids paradise! My family and I just came back from a weekend getaway. We couldn’t have been more happier with the whole experience.

1st- Hilary (employee) was magical. My kids kept asking for her because where ever she was, “magic” came along. Meaning, when we wanted s’mores, Hilary set up the fire pit for us. I was happy to hear there was complimentary fire wood and skewers for our marshmallows. The next day my son asked if there were board games and sure enough, Hilary showed us the cabinet filled with games.

The pool was definitely the highlight of it all. There’s life jackets, floaties, and chairs to lounge in. There was also a large bubble and wand that my son found entertaining. We spent all day by the pool.

The back property had a huge tree trunk swing, large “bird egg nest” and so much dirt/forrest area to explore.

At night my family and I went for a walk and a few minutes later, Bruce (I’m guessing from other reviews) pulled up next to us and handed us a flashlight. Talk about hospitality.

This place had it all from customer service to special amenities. The “extras” they provided, made our trip that much better. My boys loved this place and I’m thankful for the memories they were able to create.

To the wonderful employees at the Tree Top Lodge, thank you so much for your kindness and going out of your way. We can’t wait for next years getaway!
