Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday morning while walking my dog in the neighborhood. The owners of the old Gamboge (who still own the building) are partners of Arroz & Fun. The current restaurant owners are really nice, and the breakfast sandwich I had was great! The bun was sweet and savory, and the egg was silky and runny, just how I like my scramble! You can get it with bacon or spam for another dollar. Back patio is still quaint and relaxing! Nice to read a book back here.

Great spot for Breakfast and Lunch, easy patio hang out. Tasty food with Taiwanese and Cantonese influenced flavors into comfort food that is the So. Cal food scene. Great Bolo "pineapple" bun, but also made into a Breakfast Sando! Bbq pork bun, coffee sourced from El Salvador and made into delicious beverages. "Arroz & Fun" Definitely has unique flavors that must be sampled, then come to decide which is the go-to weekly comfort Dish & Drink! Cute place, friendly cool people.

My boyfriend had heard about this place through Instagram and was very excited because he's Salvadorian. He really wanted to try out the coffee and food. We got there early after hiking, so the place had plenty of seats. They have a couple of 2 seaters on the inside, and then more space on their patio. To clarify, this place isn't owned by Salvadorians. They use a coffee brand that is Salvadorian owned. The food, though, is a mixture of Asian, and Salvadorian, which is pretty cool. We each got a breakfast sandwich and some churros. Need to come back and try more.
