I collect art and photographs and over the years I have used pretty much every framing service in Portland. I recently returned from a decade of working in the Middle East and wanted to frame a painting I brought home with me. A web search turned up J Rollins Art of Framing, which is a business I hadn't heard of before, and the reviews were wonderful. So I took my painting to Joanne, the owner, and had an amazing experience in the process of selecting a frame. Joanne is an artist and has a superb eye for design. But she involves you as an equal in the process of selecting a frame and discussing your preferences. After considering more than a dozen options, we actually both agreed that the least expensive frame was the best suited to the picture. And Joanne delivered the framed piece to me within a very tight deadline. What a wonderful experience. Please visit Joanne's shop and you may well think of some treasure you have at home that would be transformed by her.

The owner Tad is skillful and professional. He provides prompt, personal service with an artistic and aesthetic eye to match any object to be framed while conscious of cost. I have gone to Tad at least 4-5 times and always come away happy and impressed.

I'm very pleased with the quality of work at Art of Framing. Tad helped me select the frame, the mat, the glass, and from start to finish I was pleased with their communication style and professionalism. I will certainly be coming back for more framing!
